On August 1st, Zeekr X debuted in Singapore with a grand launch event, marking the official release of their first electric vehicle, the Zeekr X. It starts at SGD 199,999, with the flagship version priced at SGD 214,999. Another luxury model, the right-hand drive Zeekr 009, has already launched in Hong Kong and Macau, and is expected to hit Singapore by September this year.

Reports indicate that while Chinese brands like BYD have been expanding their influence in the Asia-Pacific region, Zeekr stands out in competing with mainstream luxury brands such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

According to Zeekr officials, launching in Singapore was essential due to high demand for luxury cars and electric vehicles in the market. Premium Automobiles, Audi's retailer, has been appointed as Zeekr's distributor in Singapore.

Looking ahead, Zeekr plans to enter markets in Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Vietnam by the end of 2024. As of the end of July this year, Zeekr has entered over 30 major global markets and aims to expand to 50 countries by year's end, spanning Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Latin America.Zeekr is set to open its first Singapore showroom at 9 Leng Kee Road by the end of August. Spanning approximately 1300 square meters, the showroom will offer comprehensive sales and delivery services, catering to consumers' one-stop car buying needs.

Regarding their successful entry into the Singapore market, Zeekr officials stated, "This was absolutely necessary." They believe that competing with renowned brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz in the high-end market will enhance Zeekr's international visibility and reputation.
