Trainees of Developing Countries Training Programme Visits FOTON

On October 14, with the autumn breeze and bright sunshine, members from the nine developing countries including Uganda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mauritius and Gambia came to Foton Motor and started a unique business exchange activity with great interest and expectations for China's automobile manufacturing industry.

The developing countries training programme mainly composed of business people from developing countries, and aimed at promoting leadership among business people in developing countries. The training programme makes full use of many platforms and resources, and is committed to promoting resource exchange and experience sharing between China and other developing countries, and building a solid communication platform for win-win cooperation. In this exchange activity, the trainees visited Foton Motor, and through on-site visits and in-depth exchanges, providing a platform for business people from developing countries to learn about the cutting-edge technology and management experience of China's automotive industry.

The first stop for the trainees was Foton Cummins factory. As the world's advanced diesel engine production base, the Foton Cummins factory inherits Cummins' century-old experience and produces light and heavy-duty diesel engines that can meet Euro III and below, Euro IV, Euro V and Euro VI emissions and the highest global non-road Phase IV standards. During the visit, the trainees learned in detail about the advantages of Foton Cummins' engine production process, quality control and product performance, and expressed high recognition of Foton Cummins' innovative achievements and technical strength in the engine field.

In addition, the trainees also visited Foton Motor's X-Lab and digital exhibition hall. Foton X-Lab includes 15 laboratories including NVH, EMC, new energy, intelligent networking, structural durability, chassis, transmission, body, ring mold simulation, benchmarking and evaluation, and 1 R&D test track. Each laboratory has selected advanced testing equipment at home and abroad, and the overall testing capability has reached the leading level of commercial vehicles. The digital exhibition hall showed the trainees the development history and scientific and technological achievements of Foton Motor, which aroused their strong interest in leading technologies such as super powertrain, Internet of Vehicles, and autonomous driving.

During the exchange meeting, trainees from different fields had in-depth business exchanges with core business personnel of Foton Motor. Representatives of Foton Motor gave a detailed introduction to its layout in the global market, and especially emphasized its strategic deployment in markets such as Africa. Through cost-effective products and full-service solutions, it empowers the transportation upgrades of developing countries, and actively promotes the prosperity and development of local economies and societies through diversified paths such as technology empowerment, capacity cooperation, and talent cultivation. The two sides had a heated discussion on topics such as the specific needs of the developing countries, the competitive environment, and future development trends. The trainees said that this exchange not only enhanced their understanding of Foton Motor's global strategy, but also provided them with valuable insights into international business, and they look forward to more cooperation opportunities in the future.

This business exchange activity not only allowed the business people in developing countries to gain a deeper understanding of Foton Motor's technical strength and management experience, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. Foton Motor will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation, actively seek cooperation opportunities with developing countries, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of the global automotive industry.
