Foton AUV has unveiled its newly designed vintage pure electric city bus featuring Chinese retro style. With an overall length of 8.5 meters, the bus boasts a design inspired by ancient palace walls. Its body is adorned with a vermilion hue reminiscent of ancient palace walls, complemented by a golden glazed tile roof. The lower part of the windows is decorated with ancient palace gate and nail-head strips, giving the impression of a moving palace.
The destination sign at the front of the bus not only serves its primary function but also incorporates a classical aesthetic design. Additionally, space is reserved at the top for the installation of an electronic camera, enhancing driving safety and allowing for personalized expansion. The large curved front windshield, paired with vertical windshield wipers, significantly improves the driver's visibility. The headlights are single units, and the upward-opening front compartment access door facilitates easier maintenance of internal components. Furthermore, multi-color adjustable ambient lights have been added beneath the roof's gutter, adding a touch of fashion and technology to the bus during nighttime travel.
Powered by pure electricity, the bus meets the mainstream demands of urban tourism for long range, high energy efficiency, and zero emissions. It is equipped with an FTTB095B drive motor and a high-capacity, safe lithium-ion battery from CATL, ranging from 163.36KWh to 186.7KWh. The bus can reach a maximum speed of 69km/h and features an air suspension system. While catering to various application scenarios such as urban trunk and feeder lines, city bus services, and scenic spot shuttle services, it greatly enhances passenger comfort, providing tourists with an exceptional travel experience.
